We can supply traps in a variety of formats. DIY kits include the relevant electric kit together with plans and instructions for building your own trap and represent the cheapest way of starting moth trapping. We can also supply ready built traps constructed from top quality materials and professionally finished.

Skinner Trap
Our skinner moth trap is 45cm square and 35cm high and is constructed from exterior ply, complete with base and varnished for extra durability. The trap comes without electrics, and you will need to choose the relevant electric kit from our list, i.e SK07, SK09, etc (the standard moth trap (SK07) works from a 125w MV bulb). For personal safety we recommend an earth leakage trip be fitted. (SK14). The ALS 15w/Twin 30w actinic trap (SK09/SK09a) is ideal for trapping in built up areas where neighbours can be a problem. It will fit onto the existing light board of our Skinner trap, so making purchase of only the relevant electrics necessary if you already own one! It is also available as a portable 15w actinic model with light sensor switch.

Professional Robinson Trap (SK20)
Our Professional Robinson Moth Trap is a top of the range trap made from polypropylene. The units will stack inside one another for maximum portability. They have a better holding capacity than the Skinner Moth Trap. Supplied complete with 125w MV electrics and rain guard. 60cm diameter (at widest point), 2mm thick clear collar for extra durability with internal drainage holes and gauze covering.

Twin 30W (60w) Actinic Robinson Moth Trap (SK20a)
Using the same base and collar as the Professional Robinson Trap this model runs two 30w (60w) 18" long actinic tubes giving very good catch results almost comparable with 125w MV traps in certain locations. A very popular robust trap ideal in built up areas that are over looked by other houses. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

Economy Robinson Trap (SK27)
This cheaper model uses the same successful 125w MV electronics and cone with rain guard as the Professional Robinson Trap which is 50cm diameter at widest point. Rather than a clear collar this model has a black collar that is welded in place making it very durable.

Heath Trap (SK22)
The 15w 'Heath type' Moth Trap is made from durable light weigh polypropylene. It is very durable, very easy to assemble. A mains or portable unit is available. See Going mobile
