This 12.8V 7Ah lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) battery comes complete with a purpose-designed charger and carries a 3-year guarantee.
Weighing less than 1kg, this lightweight battery is suitable for use in temperatures ranging from -25°C to +50°C. The battery is sealed, maintenance-free and incorporates an internal Battery Management System (BMS) to protect against overcharging and excessive discharge.
Connections
Fitted with F2/T2 6.35mm wide spade terminals. The supplied charger has matching female spade connectors.
IMPORTANT: Always ensure correct connection to the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals.
Batteries must be protected from rain and moisture during use. We recommend placing the battery in a suitable weatherproof container, ensuring that the battery terminals and electrical connections remain dry.
Air Travel – Important Information
This battery has a nominal capacity of approximately 90Wh, which is below the 100Wh limit generally permitted for spare lithium-ion batteries carried on passenger aircraft, subject to applicable aviation safety requirements.
Under current UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) guidance:
Batteries must meet the requirements of UN 38.3 testing.
Spare lithium batteries up to 100Wh are generally permitted without prior airline approval.
Spare lithium batteries must be carried in cabin baggage, not checked luggage.
Battery terminals must be protected against accidental short circuits.
Airline policies regarding the carriage of lithium batteries can vary between operators and may change without notice. If in doubt, always check with your airline operator before travelling to confirm that the battery will be accepted and to establish any additional restrictions.
