A brilliantly innovative moth trap designed for use while on overseas holiday. Using 2x 2w LED units with a 20cm drop net with legs, the complete trap only weighs 1.7Kgs with the 26,800mHa Anker powerbank battery which is suspended below the rain guard disc. Easily fits into hand luggage for air travel. Field tested in Northern India, South America and Europe with some excellent results (upto 150 moths of 40 species per night in Italian Alps in July 2022 and similar numbers in the Greek Balkans in September 2022 including up to eight Catocalids (red underwings) of three species in the trap per night! We would not recommend this trap for everyday use in wet climates due to the contents (moths and egg trays) getting wet and mold occurring on the netting or in areas of low moth density such as in the UK.
